Haeden bridge - TOMMS FACTORY Enterprise
TOMMS FACTORY broadcasts Korea's Presidential election 2007.
On Wednesday, 19th December 2007, TOMMS FACTORY Enterprise was deployed and broadcasted every facet of Korea's election from five different locations in Seoul on WiBro(Mobile WiMax of Korea operated by Korea Telecom).
Replacing SNG(Satellite News Gathering) systems of SBS(Seoul Broadcasting System, one of the major broadcasting corporation in Korea), Reporting crews, even while they are on the move, used TOMMS FACTORY Enterprise on their portable PC with 6mm and ENG cameras and communicated with SBS studio over WiBro, and their real-time collaboration was aired nationwide successfully.
It is a tremendous breakthrough for Haeden Bridge as it is targeting a new B2B business model with KT, based on communication and broadcasting converged service for converged IP networks.
Haeden Bridge has already been contracted to supply TOMMS FACTORY Enterprise to OBS(a newly born broadcasting corporation), and is currently on talks with other broadcasting corporations who appreciate a cost-effective new technology which can replace existing SNG as well as delivering more attractive services over air, DMB and IPs.
