Samsung introduce 450 GB Cheetah 15K.6

Seagate Technology introduce an enterprise hard drive ‘Cheetah 15K.6’ supporting up to 450GB and 15,000-rpm in Korea.

The Cheetah 15K.6 provides high sequential and transactional performance and a 61 percent improvement in watts/GB at idle over the prior generation. With 450, 300 and 147GB storage capacities, it is expected to be released in first quarter of 2008 in Korea.
