Well, it’s a watch with a small rotating Earth that makes a full rotation once every 24 hours. Designed in Japan and made by Seiko Instruments, this is an interesting and unique timepiece. There is a small time zone indicator for the hour and a small orange dot to indicate the minutes. The movement is Quartz with a custom set of 3 reducing gears in the drive train and is powered by a 10 year Lithium battery. The bezel is 45 mm in diameter and the entire case is made of light weight Titanium. The crystal is super tough Hardlex and is of optical quality to create the effect of the Earth floating inside the frame. This watch has these great features.

Is Wonderbeings a word? We are gonna say ’sure, why not?’ If you disagree, please politely put your complaint into the nearest bit bucket. Now then, back to the Wonderbeings that are Cube World digital stick-people.
What is Cube World ?
Well, to explain it using the manufacturer’s slogan, Cube World is simply, ‘Stick People Sticking Together’. That’s not a bad first pass, but we are going to go one better and give you the inside scoop on just how interesting Cube World really is. Forget about Tamagotchis, these things are function before cute. But cute is present, trust us. Cube World is a complex community of digital people who live in boxes. They each have their own behavior set. The boxes they live in have magnetic contacts on four sides (conduits we might say) so that they might connect with other Cube World folks. When connected Cube World folks interact with one another in amazing ways. It’s that simple. And complex. And therein lies the fundamental pleasure with Cube World.

We’ve been very impressed with this tiny Stainless Steel Digital Camcorder. It’s a great occasional use camera that goes anywhere. The entire casing is made from very solid stainless steel and feels great in your hand. The screen is a beautiful hi-res LCD display. Not only does the camera shoot full DVD quality video (720×480 30fps) it takes 5.4 Megapixel still photos and has a built-in flash. The interface is slick and simple to navigate. All photos and video are stored on an SD memory card (not included). You can get up to 2 hours of DVD quality video and hundreds of photos on a 2 GB SD card. The included software allows you to convert your videos for playback on iPod, PSP or Cell Phone. Videos are stored in MPEG4 format and look great when burned to DVD (You’ll need some kind of DVD burning software. Not Included).

We’ve lusted after wristwatch cell phones before cell phones even existed. Hey, we love our iPhones… but there’s something irresistible about talking Dick Tracy style into your watch. Fortunately we don’t have to play favorites because the Touchscreen Cell Phone/PDA Wristwatch is an unlocked GSM cell phone. Just pop your existing sim card out of the top of your iPhone (or other GSM Cell Phone from AT&T/Cingular or T-Mobile) and insert it into the back of the watch and power it up. Call your standard cell phone number and your wrist will start ringing.

Technology and nature aren’t exactly best friends. We’re really not sure what happened… maybe the ocean got pissed off after you dropped your iPod in the drink with 8-Bit gaming cover songs on repeat. Whatever the cause, the elements of nature decided that expensive electronics and outdoor watersports are a lethal combination often ending in disaster. This works out fine for those basement dwelling obsessive geeks who keep all electronics in hermetically sealed vaults lest they get a slight scratch… but what about the outdoor geek who might want to capture the action digitally while snorkeling, snowboarding or mountain biking? Luckily the Hero 3 Digital Wrist Camera has decided to “make nice” with the great outdoors by sporting a durable exoskeleton that pretty much goes anywhere. Strap the Hero 3 to your wrist and snap some sweet shots while, climbing, skiing, biking, or diving up to 100 feet. This mini camera locks flat to your wrist for storage then pivots up to capture crisp digital photos or 30 fps movies.

For a wristwatch to be considered truly geeky it should have one of two things - the ability to play audio and video or some kind of communication functionality (like a built-in cell phone). Well, you can definitely put a big bold check mark in the “yes” column for the Metallic Video Watch with OLED Screen. With a full color screen this watch displays video and images very nicely with a 128×128 pixel resolution. The OLED screen is crisp and bright and the watch itself is surprisingly well proportioned (not thick or bulky). It also has a stylish band and metal case.

We just can’t seem to get enough of tiny R/C helicopters. They’re taking the ThinkGeek office by storm… swarming and amusing the office dogs. Buzzing delightfully as we procrastinate on our TPS reports. Even the robotic monkeys are impressed at the tiny size and amazing technology. These mini copters can take off from your hand and circle your desk as your co-workers gape in amazement. Full control allows you to hover and turn left or right as your copter moves slowly forward. Two different channels let you to fly with a friend. But practice-up on your aviation skills if you hope to challenge the expert pilots at ThinkGeek.

We feel like our childhood R/C dreams are finally coming true. We wanted cool R/C tanks that shoot dangerously, fantasized about mini helicopters that fit in the palm of your hand, we wanted a hovering spaceship, we thought about crazy hybrid car/planes, … but just when we felt our R/C appetite was sated, along comes this amazing super-lightweight indoor flying airplane.

In the future, Christmas trees will assemble themselves from a packet of nano-bots and the dust in the room. Plasma balls that harness the power of atomic fusion will blaze, reflecting glitteringly from ribbons made of spun gold fibers and dangling diamond-thread tinsel. Those days aren’t here yet, so this desktop USB powered tree, festively festooned with fiber-optic lights, will have to do!
